Yolo Hostel

Yolo Hostel is located in the city of Armação dos Búzios, which is located 160km from Rio de Janeiro. Búzios is famous for its 25 beautiful beaches and for its rusticity which combined to its gastronomy and sophisticated inns gave it the nickname of Brazilian “Saint-Tropez”. But make no mistake, there are prices for all budgets.

However, what many do not know is that the region has striking features that makes it unique and quite complex. With a semi-arid climate Búzios has a very different vegetation than Rio de Janeiro, resembling that of the Brazilian Northeast, like many cacti, and therefore rains on average 3 times less than Rio, making it a great beach destination with Sun all year round.

Yolo is at 3 minutes walk from Geribá, the most popular beach in Búzios, and also the place for surfers who are seekiing for good waves. Within a 10 minutes walk, you arrive in the most beautiful beach of the city: Ferradurinha. There you can paddle in kayaks or stand up boards. Warning: there are always sea turtles! Supermarkets are 2 blocks from the hostel, as is public transportation (vans for R$ 3.50, taxi or you can call a Uber) that take you to many beautiful beaches and downtown, where are the famous nightclubs and other night spots.

If you enjoy wind sports, the Manguinhos beach is across the avenue, where you can practice kitesurfing and windsurf at the most incredible sunset in the area! In the same place you still find great bars and restaurants to enjoy the sunset. We have the ideal location to facilitate the day and night tours in town.

We have 47 beds divided into 9 rooms. There are two double suites (up to 3 and 4 people) equipped with air conditioning.

A private bedroom with bunk bed for friends who want more tranquility and privacy. The dorms vary between 3 female (4, 5 and 6 beds) and 3 mixed (6, 7 and 10 beds), all have lockes, enough electrical socket for everybody and mostly equipped with air conditioning. In addition, the rooms for 4 are also suites.

For the other dorms, we have shared bathrooms spread around the hostel, allowing the guest to always have the availability of using them without waiting.

We are a hostel differentiated specially by our large outdoor area. Our guests have at disposal a large green area with slackline, swimming pool, bar and barbecue.

Still on the outside, we have a few sets of chairs and tables, sofas, and cozy hammocks, which facilitate interaction between guests and allow them to rest after a day at the beach.

Not to mention the fully equipped kitchen and our herb garden with spices for the guest to cook with fresh ingredients.
Our wi-fi works in all areas of the Hostel.
We have cable TV, transfer, VIP list for the famous nightclubs of Búzios and many other attractions.

Our goal is to make the guest’s stay a moment of happiness and joy. This is the motto of Yolo Hostel. We are, above all, backpackers who know how much a trip in hostel can be pleasurable, full of adventure, new friends, new loves, and lots of fun. And this is what we intend to pass on to our guest.

We like to show our guests the best what Búzios has to offer and that many people do not know, such as trails, tours and parties in the most famous nightclubs in the region. Not to mention our barbecues, pizza nights, parties and karaoke where fun is guaranteed.
